Our Federation
The Edge Schools’ Federation is comprised of Brockton CofE Primary School, Church Preen Primary School and Wistanstow CE Primary School. The Federation has one executive headteacher and one governing body who have oversight of all three schools.
Our mission is to keep rural schools at the heart of our communities. Our small schools are our strength. We know our children individually, understand their unique learning style and provide tailored support in a nurturing and familial environment that allows every child to not only succeed but to thrive. Through our Federation we are more than the sum of our parts providing our children with curricular and extra-curricular possibilities and opportunities which engage, enrich and excite them.
Our vision is to educate, inspire and empower generations of children through a network of schools that are recognised for developing enthusiastic, resilient and independent children. Through high quality teaching and a commitment to excellence we want to inspire a love of learning and confidence in each child’s unique abilities. By embracing a sustainable and collaborative structure, we endeavour to continue to evolve and grow, ensuring that our schools remain a cornerstone of opportunity and success for generations to come.
